, I choose to edit many Italian Airports since the girl I love is loves Italy so much, so this is my romantic way to show my love to her lol. The next major update will be full of 3D Italian Airport

Fun facts: my dad is born in Italy at the place of Aversa, near Naples. I’m currently editing the international airport of Naples (LIRN). His mom (my grandma who passed away before I was born) was Italian and came from the Alto Adige region. There are 2 airports (LIDT & LIPB), both done by me. Finally my brother lives in Italy near Turin and guess what: LIMF is in the works by me too

Finally, it’s been too long that Italian airports weren’t considered. At least now we’ll have 2 major hubs in the north, which is very good for the ones who lives there like me.
Then my home airport is LIMF, but I saw it’s wip so I’ll have to wait a little longer. But both Milan ones are ones where I flew many times, so I know them very well!

Out of curiosity, how does the process from ready for release to actually being released go? Since there are quite a few that are ready and we’ve had updates.

“Ready For Release” status means that the Airport will be come on the next Major Update.

Is anyone thinking about reworking Venice? It has changed quite a bit since it was first released both in terms of 2D and 3D stuff.
Hello! Some updates for Italian airports from my side: LIRJ, LIDT and LIPB all receive updated layouts for the next release. LIRN and LIRA are also ready for release. There is still work to do on LIMF and I adopted LICJ as a new project

I am absolutely speechless. I was born and lived in Sicily for 5 years there and every Summer i take my dear easyjet a320 from LIMC (Milano Malpensa) to LICJ. Seeing that the Palermo Airport Will be rendered 3d has shocked me because i had been asking other scenario editors for It for a long time. I Hope to finally see It in 3d as soon as possible. When you finish It, i Will finally be able to do my Flight from LIMC (Milano Malpensa) to LICJ and obviously many others, such as from LICJ to KEWR, which i believe they inaugurated in May 2025. Anyway, thanks you again for the work you have come and are doing for magnificent italy.

Hi everyone, has anyone thought about fixing LIRF? The new boarding area, opened in 2022, is still in construction, so nobody can park there unless they use the stairs instead of the jet bridge.
