I hope you do realise, everyone wants exactly the same thing as you do!
Airport editing is something very hard, and especially big airports such as VIDP/VOBL have a lot of small components that need to work on and need to be precise and exactly like IRL. Along with no one has the time to spend hours actively looking around IRL pictures and recreating them the same way. Perfecting the models in game also takes time and a lot of effort. Now @Monty is on VOBL and he has made a lot of Indian airports already and I trust him in making VOBL as soon as he can and make it in top level quality.
We do have more Indian airports too, we have Guwahati, Leh, Biju Patnaik, Coimbatore, Ahmedabad, Agatti, Calicut and some more smaller airports too. We do not have many Indians in IFAET or IFAET members who have taken up Indian airports. I myself have taken up Varanasi, but with IRL commitments, I too havenāt been able to finish it fully.
Along with generating Indian Traffic in IF; being part of Indian Virtual Organisation, we try our best to make India more busy in traffic and I feel your frustration with Delhi and Bangalore being 2D as these are Indian Virtual Hubs and we would have loved them to be 3D.
Along with, having so many updates on a mobile app, and expecting PC level performance isnāt right. IF Team, does their best to make sure they can give the best, but also make sure phone/tablet devices can hold up to that!
So be patient, and just the way we got the A350, we will also get VOBL and VIDP

But thereās only one option - PATIENCE
Until the IFS devs start actively taking onboard community members to edit airports, progress is going to be slow.
After waiting a year I have given up on waiting to be accepted. I genuinely had the time, skills and experience with airport adding for FSX. But it is what it is. No one is perfect, the IFS team have their own set of flaws which will āhopefullyā be resolved some day.
It will just be a shame that when and IF a time comes when I do get accepted, I wonāt have the time or interest in it. Not a loss for me personally. And the game will go on. So no one is affected.
If Infinite Flight bugs you, try Real Flight Simulator, Aerofly FS Global or X Planeā¦.but be warned, each game has it flaws, some worse than others. I tend to use RFS more than IFS now, because RFS has better lighting effects, hundreds of livery options, more aircraft options, easier to edit airports, easier to edit liveries, checklists etc. but it looks a bit too animated and arcade like. When I want a dose of realism, I get back to IFS as it looks more real and feels more real. Thereās pros and cons to everything.

IFAET is changing the way they accept people, wait till they get it done. IFAET currently has their applications paused/closed. IF developers arenāt really directly linked to IFAET only certain airports have high priority and I can guarantee you, Delhi and BLR is one of them. Just about time we will get them and we will enjoy those airports to the fullest once they are 3D!

First of all, editor was opened to public only 2 years ago, okay? Secondly, I guess it was said many times that these huge airports take a lot of time. Editors are not robots, we are all humans with personal life, so have patience and wait

Bro, so you have not completed a phase also? Atleast give some WIP of that which is completed. I know that you are not robot but taking that much time is also no acceptable.

Donāt know but I will only say it is taking so much time and why infinite flight is not opening new entries? Some Airport are not in development also if they are not having so much staff then add 10-15 people for editing one airport so that it will take less time or give every people the airport which is not in development so that it can be 3D fastā¦.
The Airport Editing team are redoing the way applicants are being let in at the moment to allow for better streamlining of new airport editors. Also as previously stated the team is comprised of volunteers who dedicate their free time on building airports. We cannot force people to work on this or that airport, we let people pick an airport of their own choosing. Also the reason we canāt do 10-15 people for an airport is that there would be quality control issues, and coordinating such an amount of people is difficult. Also for a big hub such as VIDP, only the most experienced editors are allowed to work on such a complicated airport to make it the best possible. Would you rather a small group of high experienced editor take their time on an airport or a ragtag group thrown together with the goal of getting the airport out as fast as possible and it doesnāt look good. Also we canāt dedicate that many people on an airport because thereās not only 1 airport in the world that needs the 3D, there are still tens of thousands.

There is nothing we can do at this time. Airports are picked by editors, and editors have their own lifes like you too. They are not always available for IF only to contribute their work and since their attendance to IFAET is volunteered. I can understand your frustration, but to stay respectful and sympathize with others is the right thing you should do at this time. Unless you pay for them and get accepted the offer (I do not guarantee this, just an example), they might do the job you give them. Thatās how life works.

Hey folks, there are some airports from Gujarat which are in review and should soon be able to update on those more. Vadodara is also WIP from my side so letās hope those get done soon.
