Hi everyone! Since i’m a new scenery editor and all i thought i’d like to share my dream with you all. It’s to build at least 1 3D airport in every Caribbean Country. As I said, i’m quite new to the scene, so feedback would be appreciated, and you’ll get to see my progression as an editor!
We’re primarily focusing on the Western Caribbean where i’m from. I’ve only done one airport here so far and i’ll show WIPs of every single one along the way.
Starting with the island where some of my cousins on my father’s side live. Bequia is an island within the country of St. Vincent and the Grenadines. It’s name translates to “Island of the clouds” in Ancient Arawak. Roughly 5,300 people call this place home.
Bequia’s Airport is very new, having being opened in May 1992. Often tourists visit, so the airport is capable of handling a Cessna C172 to an Airbus A321. The airport gets flights from St. Vincent, Grenada, Barbados, Martinique, St. Lucia and other islands In the grenadines. Currently this airport is in Peer Review.
The land of the Pitons is next! Castries is the capital of Saint Lucia and is where almost a half of the population of the country resides at about 70,000 people. Castries is also the biggest city.
Castries’ George F.L Charles Airport is the smallest airport in Saint Lucia. It is used for general aviation and domestic flights. International flights can be found at the Hewanorra International Airport in the town of Vieux Fort.
This airport is In Progress. This means what you see now may be changed in the future. This is likely as the airport is in its very first stages of 3 dimensional development.
Still sticking with St. Lucia, here’s Hewanworra International!! While the smaller Castries serves St. Lucia on a regional basis, UVF serves St. Lucia on the international stage, flights from UK, Canada, Grenada, Mustique, St. Vincent, Barbados, Guyana and The United States.
