Welcome to Project Alabama! This thread is intended to track all airports that are in progress or released in the state of Alabama. The goal of this project is to eventually bring 2D reworks to all airports, and 3D buildings to most airports in the state.
All WIP photos are subject to change before release. Airports marked as ready for release may not be released in the next update. Suggestions are welcome, but may not be completed next. Enjoy!
Here are some WIP photos for Tuskegee Motion Field (06A)! I believe I have the majority of the work done, however this is my first airport so I’m waiting for some feedback from my fellow peers.
Above includes the airport’s new FBO and a few small hangars. Below is of the Tuskegee Airmen Museum Hangars. For those who don’t know, the Tuskegee Airmen were the first all African American fighter pilot squadron to fight in WWII.
I am proud to say that I plan to bring KTCL to the 3D world! I am not yet assigned this airport, however I will be making local saves until my current airport is ready for release.
