What do you mean arrival procedures recommended?

Hello!

When arrival procedures are recommended, you are encouraged, not required, to input a Standard Terminal Arrival Route (STAR) into your Flight plan. There can be multiple reasons it may be recommended so if you are still unsure, contact the controller(s) to clarify!
