Problem with takeoff

Device: iPad 7th Gen
OS: OS 17.7

I’ve had a problem with the last three flights where on rotation where when I begin to tilt my device, the aircraft initially struggles to get in the air, then when it does the aircraft rapidly accelerates to around 6000fpm, then I try to correct it and it then goes to about -3000fpm.
For some context, I usually use around 10% trim (sometimes more, sometimes less) and I use an appropriate flap setting and VR speed (usually from either simbrief or an IFC guide).
I suspect it may be a problem with the gyroscope as I have never had this problem before and I haven’t been erratically moving my control surfaces. I also calibrate multiple times before takeoff.
Also at all other times of the flight I haven’t had any issues when hand flying.

you should probably send a replay to see whats going on

hmm its not because you’re too heavy or something right?

I recommend updating your iPad, the current one is 18. something.

I think I’ll have to, although I don’t like that apple ruined the photos app

As @buttarmachein mentioned - it would be useful to see a replay so we can visually see the issue.

Will do just after I land my current flight

After you take-off, do you set your vertical speed to 6,000fpm or do you set it then it changes by itself?

I usually leave the vs setting alone until I engage autopilot, I don’t usually exceed more than around 3500fpm on climbout.

Got the replay of the first time it happened here @buttarmachein @BennyBoy_Alpha

There’s definitely some calibration issue going on there - you rotated at 185kts (too fast), climbed steeply, then nosedived.

Give your device a restart, its possible the gyros and accelerometer have gone a bit wholly. It happens.
