Hello! Why is that happening? This is not the first time that when I am at cruising altitude with an airplane (FL330 - FL360), it just maintains speed but with 100% thrust and the nose is like 15°. It doesn’t make any sense. Even if the nose is 5° (that’s quite much) it is like -1500 fpm.
In this case was even worse. From nowhere I started losing speed and even with 100% thrust I was at 150 kts and if I wanted to be 0 fpm the nose had to be at 15° - 20°.
Is there an explanation for this or how to solve this cruising problems?
Also, which is the best cruising altitude related to best forward speed? My altitude inflicts over the speed? (Please don’t send me Mark Denton’s post of cruising altitude because it didn’t help me at all and its just for organization, not for efficiency.)
Thank you in advanced and I hope someone may solve my doubts.
