People don’t forget.
But neither Veterans Month or National Safety Month are international, like this Community.
That doesn’t mean we can’t celebrate it
No, but Pride Month is naturally going to get more attention because it’s recognized by the entire world, not just one country.
No one is saying you can’t and nobody have said you’re not allowed to.
There’s been several (for example) Memorial Day events etc.
But from a Community perspective, it’s not likely that we will highlight events/holidays that are localized to one or just a few countries 
I don’t agree with you 100% there are some countries which stills avoid it .
