With no hud on? How do you do that I’ve tried several times and failed miserably @John_Preston21
I’ll be looking forward to see that
Don’t know.
Look forward to seeing them to bad you can’t record video :)
You forgot to make a left 360 at KSAN a few days ago and you landed right with another plane
Cockpit only use HUD for when i’m doing ILS approaches
HUD or cockpit with HUD on. However now that the interface was redesigned a bit, gonna start practicing with cockpit-view only. Just needs a bit more research when you do any pre-flight planning in respect to airport elevations, runway headings etc. Some practice flights I did in a 172 went pretty well.
With functioning instruments it’ll be even better. One day…
Euh…I don’t remember to have landed with another plane…
I remember trying the A380 between LAX and KSAN. I think that there was a 747 KLM just behind me. But when I touched, the KLM disappeared and I saw on my map that KLM was at parking. I thought it was a bug…by the way, I am 100% sure I was cleared to land on 27. I don’t remember to have received a message to do a left 360…If I did, sorry for that!
Do you remember my callsign?
Thanks! 😉
My preferred landing view is either the cockpit, wings or the landing gear. I would prefer the cockpit and landing gear because I can see how far I am off the ground but the cockpit gives out 50,40,30,20,10. Calls.
I usually use cockpit with HUD until short final then switch to outside locked - have to see the touchdown for myself!
This would be nice as a Poll ;)
It was A.ROY im pretty sure. But wouldnt the klm have right of way becuase all three of us were about to collide so i turned
Nice shots,
How do you turn off the HUD
There are boxes for different views
The first and second box across are hud and cockpit view.
There are 2 boxes on top of them which I put my thumb on and dragged up to select the top box and it doesn’t work,
Am I doing it wrong
That’s sweet I loose all my sense of level when flying in that view I can do it but it’s not pretty.
