Exactly how you can tell whether a station is occupied by someone else while ATC, would the system be possible to integrate for pilots when selecting parking spots, gates, hangars, etc.?
I read some similar threads, but they didn’t seem to get to the point of the suggestion. Thanks, guys!

As ATC, you can tell that a space is occupied by looking at it with the camera or noticing that several calls for pushback are overlapping on the RADAR.
Done properly, the first to call in gets pushback, the other(s) hold position. [If ATC is doing their job.]
