Pre-Placed Stairs Interfere With Boarding Stairs

Hello,
I’ve noticed this at numerous airports, but decided to take action after my recent flight from BUR-LAS with the WN737-700.

When you spawn at the gate (almost all of them at Burbank), there are pre-placed air stairs adjacent to the stand. These are not operational. When you get Ground Services attached to the aircraft, the stairs that are used for “boarding” (no jetways at KBUR) go straight through and stop right in the middle of the pre-placed stairs (as pictured). Can something be done about this? It makes it feel very unrealistic, and maybe future airports could be built with this in mind.

Hi,

As airport editors, we are required to ensure GSE does not conflict with anything placed on the ramp. However, Burbank was built before GSE was introduced so there still are some conflicts. Most times this is noticed and corrected. For now, I will pass this on to the editors.

Cheers
