Obviously if not allowed my apologies if this is not allowed and I’m not sure if anyone who typically flies on ES would be willing to flying on TS with me for a little bit considering newer users unfamiliar with proper procedures and just winging it. Though, also, just trying to open stations for major airports United States-side besides KLAX, KJFK, KSFO. I guess I, also, try to open stations near the major airports with 30-45 minute flights KLAS for KLAX; KBOS, KBWI, KIAD, CYYZ for KJFK; just opening KORD, KEWR, EIDW, KCHS, KMIA, KIAH without much success besides one to two users. Really happy to see KATL and OMDB opened occasionally. If unable to fly on ES, obviously any user is allowed and more than welcome will copy, paste, and cite the written ATIS (base my arrivals and departures upon FR spotting and ATIS from LiveATC for those—if willing—to help me out. And would be more than happy to “decode” the written ATIS from https://datis.clowd.io.
Hello,
Firstly, it’s fantastic to see that you’re looking at joining the IFATC team in the near future and you’re currently looking at getting some practice in. In that case, I would strongly recommend creating an ATC Tracking Thread by following the steps outlined in the topic linked below:
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Take care!
As always, “‘Thank you, Good Day!,’” and take care as well!
Anyone who is aspiring to, or is in the process of, become part of IFATC is welcome to open a local tracking thread, which covers the Ground and Tower frequencies.
Radar tracking threads do exist who come from existing IFATC members who are currently in training for radar frequencies (Approach, Departure, Center).
Wish you all the best! Hope to see you on the team soon :)
I definitely didn’t do my research in the possibility of IFATC. Sorry and thank you so much to everyone for the help already!! I really appreciate it!
Yes I think
