Power setting indication values in TBM - torque?

TBM experts maybe you can help me out here? I noticed that the power setting number indicator on the main throttle (PWR) shows a different value from the indication you get when you open “systems” and look at “ENG1” ( the start button) with its value indicator. Having flown the TBM for quite a bit now and working also with the TBM performance app I guess the “ENG1” readout is most likely the torque??? By flying it, it feels like that when comparing settings and values with the app recommended ones. Taking the main power indicator’s value feels like overpowered. Any thoughts?

It’s the same everywhere else

PWR is related to the throttle when EGN1 shows the N1

I’m not sure “N1” even exists on a turboprop engine that the TBM has

But I am looking forward to some replies here. I’m learning about torque settings currently as I just bought a PC12 for my X-plane simulator

They talk about it in this topic and apparently n1 exist in turboprop too

I have flown a Grand Caravan EX many times (turboprop) you actually set takeoff power by setting torque so that’s something y’all should all go vote on as currently it’s just a guess on where’s right.

That’s because it’s a turbine engine with a prop in the simplest terms of an explanation

I got that but now practically speaking, when the performance app says max climb torque for a certain OAT is 93% . What do I set to 93% in our IF sim TBM … the throttle lever indicator value or the “ENG1” indicator in the systems ?

When I got 100% on the throttle the ENG1 reads 103%

The recommended torque values for the TBM 930 in the manual match the N1 outputs so I’ve deducted from that the N1 % = Torque % in Infinite Flight. For example if you give it 100% power the N1 value reads 104% and 104% is the max torque for the TBM. 🤷‍♂️

Thank you! That’s what I guessed but was t sure. Would be nice now if they could show this N1 on the throttle like with the jets . But that would be a feature request and I can’t do this because of status.:-)) anyone with a higher forum status would like to volunteer?

Cherers and thanks for the help in clarifying

High possibility that I’m not reading the manual correctly also.
