The best way to be involved is to participate as much as possible. Help introduce new members, post interesting topics, engage in debates and so forth.

Add onto that flying in game as much as possible, trying to become advanced ATC and then any other stuff you can think of, that should be enough. It all depends on how much time you want to put into IF ((:
