Possible running 120 FPS?

Hi guys, I’m curious if it is possible for my iPhone 15 pro running with 120 FPS in infinite flight?

IF doesn’t currently support 120fps on any device. The game is capped at 60fps, if enabled in Settings → Graphics.

Increase the maximum number of aircraft that can be displayed and the maximum frame rate

I think IF should increase the maximum number of display aircraft and the screen refresh rate. When we take screenshots in the replay, sometimes the terminal is full of planes, but we can’t take all of them, and we can’t see the shocking scenes. So I suggest increasing the maximum number of aircraft displayed. Nowadays, many mobile games can support 90fps and 120fps, and I think simulator games like IF are more necessary. 60fps can no longer meet the current demand. About the equipment burni…

We don’t have any immediate plans for this.

There are a few reasons for this:

• It’s generally pointless in flight simulators to have anything above 60fps. This isn’t an FPS game and if you look around, you’ll find that most simmers barely target 60fps on desktop.

• It also comes with its performance caveats. Increased frame rate doesn’t just mean that things will look smoother. But it also means that all the calculations, renderings and such have to occur twice as fast & often. That’s quite a lot for most devices and I would dare to say that the number of handheld devices (both tablets and phones) are not able to handle the amount of resources that the app would require for it to work well.
