Were the controls of the free camera adjusted after 26.1? the movement is very spotty and delayed. harder to control than i remember previously
The drone/free cam was changed. Maybe it will be changed back, but nothing has been confirmed.

When you master it well, the situation will be better. Although I also hate the current free camera,
BTW, you can hide the handle in the settings.
The mechanics were changed. Doesn’t take much time to learn/get used to though, as I have seen it to be a useful in some situations.
I think the speed of it has been reduced, as someone who likes to spot aircraft close up my free cams speed can’t match the aircraft’s speed anymore after the update. Hope it will be fixed

Yeah I also like making plane spotting videos and this joystick camera can’t keep up with the plane at high speed moments like takeoffs and landings at all. The camera speed is too limited making it impossible to get the nice cinematic desired shots we want, whereas the original freecam worked perfectly
I really hope we get the og freecam back in a future update!

Cannot even be faster than 160 kts for the freecam, very hard to do stabilized level flight videos.
