What’s the best way to communicate to a controller? For example, have communicated waiting for takeoff when first in line, and they clear someone behind you…have seen it happen to me and others by same controller but what’s the right way to share? Thanks

PM the controller and don’t bother making a topic.
What server did that incident happen on?
Fly on expert server, if someone is serious about learning and being educated in ATC they will start the process of becoming an advanced controller :)
If all else fails, the IF YouTube channel has some great ATC tutorials from ground, tower basics and even approach!

Was this on training server or expert server?
If it was expert all the controlllers are on the IFC so try and contact them if t happens again. If it was training server then sadly as you will have seen anyone can control there so it’s no surprise they are making mistakes. Just as long as you are following the rules all is good from your point of view.

There are many times when controllers make mistakes similar to this on TS1. The process for addressing the issue should you choose to do so is to first be patient. If ATC does not communicate to you I recommend repeating your request one more time (when the opportunity presents itself, don’t interrupt another communication if possible), then disconnect if still no response. It’s better to leave the situation than proceed without clearance. Following this point take note of who the controller is and try to contact them here via PM. Starting a thread isn’t necessary, though this particular thread is serving a purpose for you and for others wondering the same thing. Obviously I’m not the end all say all of this community so if anything I’ve presented should be reconsidered we’ll no doubt see it following this post :-)

All IFATC members are on IFC as far as I know. If they’re not, PM an ATC moderator.

Unfortunately you can’t help or question someone if you can’t find them, the process stops there and you move on with your day.

Unfortunately no good way really exists for now.
There should be a report ATC option on TS1 which boots/system ghost after three reports (Like with Pilots) for occasions like these. That could serve as education and would potentially get through to those not part of the forum.
