The TravelSky Pilot chat has 1009 messages. It doesn’t make any sense that this was closed at 400 yet the other is still going.

This is a new default setting. For more information: Using private / personal messages as long term chat - announcements - Discourse Meta
Not sure what we should do here. Discourse was not meant for long PM threads. The best thing to do for now is to observe how it affect things and how we can tweak things down the road to adapt.

Yes, staff can reopen these PM’s.
No, I can’t and have had many fights with the system over this.
