Because of COVID-19 we are all stuck at home and super bored but I would be entertained for weeks if I could fly on the old infinite flight. It would bring back lots of memories from the old times of infinite flight. I thought it would be a cool idea to allow people to see the humble beginning of one of the most advanced apps on the AppStore. By old infinite flight I mean times before global back when you could fly the space shuttle. Back when there were missions. Before the 737, 747, a321, and other planes were reworked.
I thought a possible way to add this would be to have a Select update feature when you launch the app. Obviously if you aren’t on the most recent update online mode wouldn’t work. A main reason we need this and can’t just go on an old iPod is because for some reason you can’t load aircraft on older versions.
If it isn’t possible to do this can you atleast make it possible to download aircraft on old versions
(Sorry if this is unorganized it is 2am and I wanted to post this before forgetting in the morning I’ll probably edit it tomorrow)
They have no plans on doing this as they are going to run one version and it would be VERY hard to implement an old version with different coding and stuff. Sorry. Look up a video for memories maybe. :)
I think the best way is to move forwards. While it’s cool to look back at these times I don’t think it’s worth the developers times. Not to mention you would lose the nostalgia factor if you can play it now.
I mean there are a lot of popular re releases of old games… 🤷🏻♂️
This wouldn’t work. There is no point in investing something like this that very few people are going to be able to use. This would slow aircraft and feature development tremendously as well. I honestly doubt if this is even possible.
It would take to long, not enough demand most likely and would delay other updates that will delay their plans
I know I spent most of this talking about adding this to the current version but my main point is I just hope they allow me to download aircraft on the older versions
No looking back now. Only to the future.
