Please Help my video didn’t show up

Hey everybody. So I know this may not have anything to do with IF, but I was screen recording a flight from SEA-SLC to do a time lapse of it on my YouTube. But after I ended the screen recording it doesn’t show up in my photos/videos. Is there any way I can make my replay a video by not screen recording the replay for an hour and 40 minutes? Thanks.

I haven’t really used my iOS recorder for filming, but I think it has a time limit for how long it can go if I’m correct… I would recommend recording it in smaller segments.

But I recorded a 7 hour overnighter and it worked but this only took an hour and 40 minutes.

First off, it tends to take several minutes for an iOS recording to appear in your camera roll — especially when it is over an hour long. I’m guessing this is because the recording is automatically compressed or processed in some way, but don’t quote me on that.

If it doesn’t appear in your camera roll after half an hour or so… yep, you need to record it all again. I know that isn’t the answer you’re looking for, but there is no other option.

Yeah. It’s been about a half hour…

It can vary on each device depending on the age I would assume.

True. But I just got the device in April.

It takes a while to upload or etc, maybe wait.

A 5 minute video takes like 1 minute to upload so a 6-7 hour video will take like 3 hours? IDK

Then let this be a lesson in reliability. Software will not always work. The longer your device is recording, the more likely it is to encounter an error and stop without warning. I would highly recommend that you record in shorter segments.

I can’t do anything with it. All I can do is record it again so there’s no use really.

There could be an excessive amount of storage that can slow this down as well.

I bet this is it. I have like over 3,000 photos and 600 videos lol.

I don’t understand. #support is only meant for problems within IF. Not apple’s screen recorder. As stated by a few people. Furthermore, id contact apple. If not, then there’s no need to worry. Id also suggest maybe deleting some videos and pictures. Clear of some space.
