Hello staff/devs, and fellow Filipino pilots (para matapos na ang server issue)

I contacted PLDT, and have finally reached out. I messaged and would keep me updated if they have resolved. I also mentioned CDN77 (your datacenter) to keep the packets high, so it does not affect the global server for us PH peeps. So far, I want to at least hear the updates from you guys with PLDT at this point, wanting to know the updates so no more waiting, reporting and issues at all. I know it’s a small, minor connection issue, but it’s big for IF users here in Philippines, I will not use mobile data, cuz it eats like crazy as well

To be honest, both @IFPHG-Kaye and I have been having network issues that cause us to repeatedly disconnect from the server. To help prevent these disconnections, we use a VPN. Although we do face some problems with the VPN, such as timeouts, it is still an improvement over the constant disconnections.

We use PLDT too lol

Unfortunately, we all know PLDT is dreadful and if they do not fix the issue themselves, i’m sure there is nothing IF can do about it specifically.

Like Enrico said, using a VPN works. I had no issues ever using NordVPN (connecting to the Philippine server for lower latency). I changed to Globe though, which is much better :slight_smile:

We don’t actively monitor the connectivity status to certain ISP’s as there are several thousands of them across the world.

So whether it works with PLDT right now isn’t something we can answer unfortunately. You’re in a better position to answer that than we are :slight_smile:
