Playground Trainees Controller Error; "Enough is Enough"! Vetting & Forum Address Required!

MaxSez: I fully understand the purpose and apparent lack of knowledge and common sense by some on the Playground. I routinely overlook PG violations and incidents and until now I have rarely comment on them. However, a PG Incident yesterday cost me standing & lost access under the new violation system directly attributable to “Controller Error”. (Incident cited below). On this occasion I attempted to contact the Trainee Tower Controller (Name Redacted) by PM and point out his error,( I recognize the machine generated violations where non-revocable) . This Trainee Controller like the majority of “Trainees” are given access without vetting for a PG controller position and routinely do not possess a Forum registered comm address. It is currently impossible to identify them, address them directly in a complementary/interrogatory form or identify the outstanding ones to an ATC Recruiter. Accordingly, it is recommended that a vetting/registration system for ATC aspirants be implemented to include the requirement to establish a Forum communication address prior to manning a position. Additionally, with the imposition of the new Machine Generated Standing/Violation System “Trainee Controller Error” can no longer be overlook! It must be addressed by PM upon occurrence and a mechanism to correct the “Score Board” where evident should be implemented forthwith. (Attn: @Tyler_Shelton)
(PG Gross Incident; I was required to abort a takeoff at V1 yesterday and forced onto the turf twice momentarily when Tower (Redacted ) authorize concurrent operations on the active; (Redacted) who was in a hurry, passed me on the taxiway and was cleared sequentially, he initiated an intersection launch in front of me cutting me off, simultaneous a cleared short final GA landed on top of me during this evolution. I incurring 2 turf incursions overspeed violations, costing me downers and a standing reduction because of this Controllers & Pilots ignorance, lack of oversight, situational awareness and at a minimum a vetting of the Asperant Controller to determine his pre-qualification and maturity to fulfill the obligations of this posting. Why did you abort, this was playground server. Newbies are on that server and sometimes its not their fault they dont know what they are doing (grade 1). But i agree this issue needs to be discussed

Fly on advanced. Problem solved.

You could be controlled by a two year old on PG for all we know.

I don’t think this rant is really valid, because there is a perfect solution already in place. The advanced server. You can contact all controllers who are advanced, and we can actually teach them, etc. They have been thoroughly tested and evaluated, and another test to become an approach controller. I think if you have this big of a problem on Playground just go to advanced. Then if you don’t like advanced don’t complain.

Yeah, it’s understandable that they are fairly new but if you’re a grade 1, you should be in the free server, no?

And there we go again by saying the Advanced Server is the solution for ALL PG issues. Sigh!
Why are there so many people ready to just ignore ATC PG. It serves a purpose and needs to be looked at!
I’m sick and tired of reading “Just fly Advanced. Problem solved!”. People who say that just don’t get it!

And I totally agree with @Maxmustang that every ATC, doesn’t matter on which server, should have an account here so he can be contacted.

Agree 100%,i’m preparing for final test and lot of time i give up from tower for this problem,it is very hard for us aspirant Atc to improve in pg,some times i fell like in the far west!

What if we integrated the forum into Infinite Flight more? To be ATC on advanced or PG server, you have to have an account on this forum. Once the app can establish that an IF Live account and forum account belong to the same person, Matt could set up an in-app notification system?

I was told to ignore ATC instructions on ATC PG when they make no sense.
Aborting take off too late, resulting in speed violations is a good example, right?
It’s not your fault and you shouldn’t be penalized for it. So I might have ignored it. I would still want to contact that ATC to talk about the issue though.
I want to help out ATC in training by flying on ATC PG, but I won’t risk violations.
ATC can’t report you anyway.

@Thomas_Galvin… MaxSez… “Fly on the Advance”? Why? The Advance provides no Challenge, it’s understaffed, it rarely staffs a full node, it continually staffs only 3 regions; SoCal, London & Carib, the ghost gun is used to frequently for minor violations etc.

Attn on Advance Server: Last week am hold short active Rnwy and told him Remaining pattern. The Rnwy isnt avtive was for me but behind of me was a pilot for him was active. Ive try it again same situation. Some Tower hve problem with the Nationality, feeling??? No Name from Tower, because i wll not tell his name. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

If you ever need to get ahold of someone that isn’t here for advanced server ATC pm a recruiter or mod and they will get you in touch with someone.

On topic @Maxmustang it was suggested to me last week to impose a grade 3 on ATC for the playground. Which isn’t a half bad idea. Some kind of communication link does need to exist for all these problems though I agree.
