Today, I braved the 25 degree cold and wind, and headed out to JFK to spot in the afternoon and evening. It really made for some beautiful shots. I took a lot, here are some of my best ones. All pictures are mine, please ask permission before use.
Bravo Lima Uniform Echo (JetBlue A320)
Egyptair 777-300ER finishing up a 12 hour flight from Cairo
Backlit Etihad A388 climbing out to Abu Dhabi
Kilo Lima Mike being photobombed by a seagull
Belly of the American 767-300
Now I went to Inwood Park. On top of seeing the arrivals, you could hear the rumble/roar of when a plane began its takeoff roll!
Etihad 777-300ER on short final for 31R
As the landings on 31R were distant from this park, I was able to see them clearly but didn’t get any pictures.
Delta 737-900ER with the tower in the background
I’m not sure if the passengers of this American 757-200 were too happy about coming to 25 degree NY from the 80 degree Caribbean.
The majority of the landings were on 31R, as there was a very long line of planes waiting to takeoff from 31L, I was able to make out some of it from the park. So we went to a Costco parking lot, close to Popeyes which was my first location.

🚨BEACON SHOT🚨 American E145
American 737-800 which diverted to JFK from MIA (was supposed to go to BOS)
🚨ANOTHER BEACON SHOT🚨 Royal Jordanian 787-8!
Qantas Queen! Not really happy with the way this came out though.
Speedbird 777-200. Did you know that BA has 9 nonstop daily flights from LHR-JFK? They even have 1 daily nonstop from EGKK-JFK.
After this, JFK switched to the 22’s, but it was pretty dark so we headed home.
My camera is a Canon Rebel T6i, with a 75-300MM lens. I hope you enjoyed these pictures!
