Planes with a side of birding!

Today I headed to Lorong Halus in Singapore to photograph the rare Amur Stonechat. (@Imprezive summon) However, the military aircraft there made for pretty good planespotting too!

awesome pictures and thanks for the summon! I really hope that I could see the Long-Tailed Shrike one day, it’s one of those bucket list birds you won’t be able to see elsewhere! the Blue-Tailed bee-eater shot is incredible too, such colorful plumage!

Thanks! The blue-tailed is personally the nicer of the two bee-eater species here in SG in terms of plumage, and is only around around this time of year as it’s migratory. The blue-throated is year-round resident. As for the LTS, it definitely made getting ambushed by yellow crazy ants worth it…
