Yes. Flying the Spitfire gives more XP I believe.

XP is experience or points you gain from flying time and landing. You can find out more about XP in this topic. There are plenty of good responses provided. :)

All planes generate the same amount of XP as far as I know.
Experience points that are part of getting to a higher grade
All plane generate the same amount of XP in flight but the difficulty of the approach and the proficiency of the landing execution determines the landing bonus. Because some aircraft like the Spitfire are harder to land and maintain on alproach it is not far fetched to say that some aircraft do generate more XP.
