Plane spotting at SRQ

Today I decided to plane spot :)
It was a scorching hot and it was midday, so I didn’t get that many pics 😅

First up, we got this little boi who pulling up, but by the time I got online has his transponder off and couldn’t find out where he was comin from :(

Next we have a Delta A220-100 taxiing to the gate from my hometown, New York. More specifically, LaGuardia.

Someone important is comin to town!

Here we can see an American Eagle CRJ-900, coming on from the land of people named Phil, and cheese stakes! Does make me miss the old American eagle livery :(

And to end it, a cirrus aviation C172 taxiing out to enter the pattern!

So question, How did you manage to sneak onto the ramp of an International Airport just to plane spot. Do you have some level of clearance or some airport ID badge?

Cool photos!

Nope, just was visiting an FBO and they let me out up to the window and on the ramp, and use there parking lot. Also when I tried similar things at JFK, I’d get kicked out as Srq is much smaller.

If you got the N-number of the aircraft you can punch that in a website like FlightAware or FlightRadar24 and see what it pulls up in terms of recent flights.

That’s what I did, and it said “no flights” lol

Update: turns out to be some executive of popular Jam company, JM SMUCKER co with his family and dog!

I loved the pictures you got, the A220 was a good shot, and the important plane looked like something from a movie it was cool.
