Airline: Japan Airlines
Aircraft: Boeing 787-8 DreamLiner
Reg. Number: JA823J
Code/Callsign: JL/Japan Air 6759
Age: 8 years (AUG 2013)

Route: Tokyo Narita [RJAA] β†’ Seoul Incheon [RKSI]
Flight Time: 2h 06m

If you thought JAL was naturally a regular route between Incheon and Tokyo, it would be a big illusion. Because ANA and JAL suspended ICN <-> NRT / GMP (Seoul Gimpo Int’l Airport) <-> HND routes, respectively, Japanese aircraft except ANA Cargo B763F were rarely seen in Incheon, but it was a very lucky day. I hope that JAL will resume the ICN <-> NRT route as soon as possible.

In fact, I never thought that this plane would come, and when the plane passed in front of me, I had mixed feelings of surprise and novelty.

Flight Time: 1h 46m

Due to the COVID-19 incident, there is no demand for passengers and aircraft cannot fly. As a solution, the Korean government decided to introduce 𝑡𝒐𝒏-π‘«π’†π’”π’•π’Šπ’π’‚π’•π’Šπ’π’ 𝑻𝒐𝒖𝒓 π‘π’π’Šπ’ˆπ’‰π’•. Starting with Korean Air, Asiana, many LCCs, including T’way, Jeju Air, began to fly. There is no other destination, but it is a schedule to take off from ICN and land back in ICN between about 1 hour and 30 minutes and 2 hours. LCCs, such as T’way, fly toward RKPK and use the route back to ICN after going around Tsushima Island once. It’s the perfect product for the COVID-19 era.
