Today I went plane spotting at KMSP and got some really nice shots. There were a few very rare planes that diverted to Minneapolis due to a storm in Chicago.

The Lufthansa diverted to KMSP. It was going to KORD.

The 747-8 looks sort of awkward taking off. Cool angle shots!

The 747 took off earlier than usual because it was only flying from KMSP-KORD. It’s a really short flight so it’s fuel tanks were barely full.

Great shots, man. You clearly know the right place to spot at MSP as I couldn’t get that good an image with a full DSLR camera from where I tried.
