Hey!

Do you have a crosswind? A crosswind will have a greater affect on your aircraft the faster you go. If you don’t utilise the rudder the plane will move to the left/right as you accelerate and rotate for takeoff (depending on which direction the wind is from) - have a look at the tutorial below:

Also make sure your device is properly calibrated before you start your takeoff roll by going to the pause menu (three bars in the bottom right of the status bar) and clicking “Calibrate”).

Hey! I also used to have this problem, this image shows why the plane turns left as the aircraft gains speed. To fix this, try rotating a bit slower, as that fixed it for me. Just to ask, what is your V2 speed?

That’s true only to the extend ground contact decreases with speed (if you have elevator control input downward it of course delays loss of lateral ground resistance between wheels and runway).

But the crosswind itself is a fixed environmental factor (to the extent it’s constant).

The aircraft control surface response, though, of course does increase with speed.

@Rangersrule
Torque is negligible (I believe) in practice for twin-Jet commercial aircraft:
The magnitude of this torque is small relative to the aircraft’s mass and aerodynamic control authority.

The op is likely dealing with crosswind (even relatively small crosswind will yaw the aircraft as the nose wheel contact lightens with speed)

Is it for every airport, every plane?

If its a single prop plane like the Cessna, look up the Torque Effect.

Use the rudder pedals :blush:

Like @adit said, it would be negligible for a sim like this. In this case, I think the OP means a horizontal turn to the left, not a twist. It is most certainly a weird moment if you aren’t expecting it.

@ARMAANTULI I would try some different airports, and also try using the pedals as @hutao_liu suggested to help control your aircraft on takeoff. It definitely takes some practice though, so don’t be discouraged if you don’t get it right away!
