Not sure if this is a duplicate, but it seems like most plane Crashses are pilot errors and stalls.
Most plane crashes are because of pilot error, weather conditions, and of course, overall failures.
US Airways crash in 2009 at Hudson river was the fault of a bird
Bird strikes would technically fall under overal failures. Both engines failed.
Turkish 1951 crash about 1,5 to 2 miles from the runway because they didn’t approach the runway with the ILS. They tought we will do an visual approach but there was bad weather at that time
They are making a movie out of that crash.
Well this was the most pointless topic
Actually, a whole flock of geese.
I think you need to re-read the report on that one. It was caused initially by a faulty radio altimeter causing the throttles to move to idle well before touchdown, and compounded by a failure to monitor the auto throttle and speed on the approach.
Nothing to do with weather or the ILS.
I would’ve appreciated a documentary, not some Hollywood production of it…
