Hey IFC. @lucaviness here with a question. My closest airport is KSFO but I have no good ideas for places to spot. If anyone else has ever spotted there, let me know your recommendations. Thanks and see you in the skies!

Bayfront park and the Waterfront are the two best spotting locations I can think of currently. 01 approach is a lot more difficult to access, so you can get some quality shots from either of the two above locations 😁

Normally there is no landings on the 01’s. It’d have to be a special occasion

There’s a hill right behind 1L and 1R and you can peek over and see the planes taking off if the 1s are open

I stayed at a hotel right next to the airport. I remember shooting time lapses of planes coming in. Let me see if I can find what is was.
EDT: It’s The Westin. You might be able to spot I a parking lot nearby.

You have to have a room in the hotel to park in the parking lot, although there are other places you can park at. There is a path in which you can spot from, in front of the parking lot.
