Pilot not communicating

Hello everyone, hope you’re doing great!

I just completed a flight from KMIA to ESSA but during my approach, I encountered a pilot who wasn’t taking to anybody. For this topic, I decided to keep his username anonymous until further notice. I was about 17NM to my destination when I noticed another aircraft on left downwind for runway 19L. At first, I thought he announced his intention as he could probably tune into the Unicom earlier than I did as he was way closer. But soon it became evident that wasn’t the case as he didn’t report his position, nor when he was on final. At one moment, he quite literally flew into my approach path, making me on the verge of going around but luckily he flew away relatively quickly. In the end, I safely landed on 19R and him on 19L without a collision. Here are the screenshots I took:

Also, after landing I accidentally parked at a gate which was a bit small for me. However, it didn’t seem to bother them as I got windstriked by him.

I strongly believe that pilots should be able to report other pilots and not just ATC, although that would probably get out of hand relatively quickly.

You would have been reported by others for this. Would you have accepted that?

I suppose I would. I take all the blame for that situation. Although in my defence, on the map, the parking spot was highlighted in blue, not red.

It’s the pettiness I’m after here.

What I’m trying to explain is that people are so petty sometimes, that they would genuinely report people for flying with the wrong livery, parking at the wrong terminal/gate etc. And not to mention the targeted reports which basically is bullying…

There are no multiplayer game that have a well working report system, far from it. Not even the really competitive ones.

In the long run, we want a lot of this automated but that’s another story.

Yeah that is what I mentioned. So I guess it’s reasonable that only IFATC members can report others.
