Welcome to my IFATC Officer Training Thread
My username is @PIAR,I am using this name because I forgot my name IRL
The main goal of this thread is to gather people who are willing to help me improve my
radar skills by simulating real IF conditions on the Training server
I,from the basement of my heart thank anyone willing to help me with this task
Tasks of the Trainee:
To control a approach/center frequency on/above the level expected of an IFATC radar controller
Tasks of the Volunteer Pilots:
To fly to the airport mentioned in the ping by me in a realistic way
To simulate pilots inbound to a real airport on Expert Server
To provide feedback on the shortcomings of the controller (I don’t mind some constructive criticism/abuse as it essential for me to improve so full send it)
Regarding the Session:
I will post on this thread atleast 24hrs before I intend to start a session without any pinging
I will ping 30mins before the session starts with the Airport code and the Rwy’s in use
(-Only fly to the mentioned airport and runways pls
-Pls depart from an airport 10 mins or closer to the airport where the session is taking place
-Maximum amount of pilots allowed to depart an airport at the same time is 2)
I encourage you to try to create realistic busts using speed and altitude but pls follow my commands after i issue them
(Example:Let’s say i have given an heading and altitude but no speed restriction,then use that lack of speed restrictions to create a bust with another acft if possible,same with the altitude if no altitude is given by me)
-Keep the busts realistic so no kamikaze’s and so forth-
Please use a vertical speed rate of 1200 ft/min - 1500 ft/min this threshold allows me to experience realistic conditions while also catching any mistakes I make altitude wise
Please follow all Heading/Altitude/Speed restriction commands i give even if it means having a fist fight with a mountain

Remarks:
Pls use any aircraft that can operate atleast at a speed range of 120-250kts (+/- a few I don’t mind) and an altitude range of 0ft -15,000ft
A seperation bust is when two aircraft are both within 3 or less nautical miles and within 1000 or less feet of each other
A terrain bust is when you are 1000 or less feet to the ground directly below your aircraft
-Busts are not an issue if both aircraft have been cleared for an approach when the bust occurs
Also I request the volunteers to post the timings in which they will be available for a session,mention the timings in zulu time(optional)
Any Trollers will forever be cursed with Headwinds on cruise and Tailwinds on final
