In my opinion the Avanti is definitely one of the most unique civil aircraft I have ever seen.
On top of that it’s probably the best performing turboprop out there. It does even outdistance some light jets. That’s very, very impressive.
The reason why I do request the EVO is that this third generation avanti did got some upgrades like better aerodynamics wich did lead to a 50NM higher range than the second gen. and if you do order the optional fuel tank it does offer even 200NM more.
Description of the manufacturer
Avanti EVO blends the very best of Italian style, peerless craftsmanship, and intelligent thinking to create an aircraft that stands alone for its values. With greater range, faster climb, reduced fuel costs, a lower noise footprint, added safety systems, and a more luxurious cabin, Avanti EVO is yet another step forward. Its speed exceeds 400 KTAS, faster than many jets and at a fraction of the direct running costs. Add to that a significantly improved service and support network, an innovative new maintenance program that can keep costs under control better than ever, and Avanti EVO stands alone for intelligence and elegance.

A great feature request for an amazing aircraft! Hopefully FDS will consider adding this to the upcoming GA update. Would love to fly this around Italy! You have my vote!
@Lamborghini_Husky yes i know there is a avanti in Ferrari livery but this is not a P180 Avanti Evo. That’s the second generation one. U can find out if it is a second gen or third gen( the EVO) by looking at the wing tips. The EVO does have the winglets.
Another difference is that the EVO does have 2x 5 blade prop.
There is even another Ferrari livery with the upper half of the fuselage painted in red.
@CathayPacific i know it’s really cool. But there are some very good clues that the next one after the CRJ will be a TBM 930. If you do wanna know wich one send me a PM.
I have read that somewhere in a aviation magazine though. Maybe the Ferrari sec. Gen. one did got updated. Or so.
What I’ve read as well that the front wing got updated the engine mounts and the exhaust.
Well it’s not ugly for me. But I do admit it did take some time to get used to the design.
But the performance does talk for itself, wich is only possible by that unique design.
Yes there is a difference between the second generation avanti and this one (the third generation). Please read the thread before posting something useless! 😊
The only differences between those two planes are that the EVO can fly further plus it’s a little faster and it has some minor model changes.
There may be more significant differences between both planes in real life. The differences which can be simulated though are minor. How do you want to show better aerodynamics in InfiniteFlight?
I think it would be the best if both topics would be combined to one single suggestion for the Piaggo P180 Avanti without differentiating the different versions of the plane.
