Tonight I decided to do another America West @Poxy Summon If you can believe it! Tonight was Phoenix - Hayden Colorado
on the America West Express CRJ9! It was a beautiful flight with many different landcapes from deserts to plains to mountains!

We start out at gate B01A with a 2003 delivered CRJ900 to America Wests’ regional subcidiary Mesa Airlines that will take us north to Ski Country

Rotating off runway 26 at about mid-field with a lovely view of Sky Harbours’ ATC tower

! If you look closely though, below the tail is Page, Arizona

Passing the lovely ski town of Telluride Colorado

Turning northwest over the Rifle Colorado VOR-DME on initital descent into Hayden
Obligatory @RedWolf summon because he did an amazing job crafting this airport into its current 3D state
Approaching short final for Yampa Valleys’ runway 10! Contrary to popular belief, Hayden is not the main town the airport serves, but rather Steamboat Springs to the east! Steamboat Springs is airport is much smaller and only serves GA traffic.

This landing was horrible. Starting at about a mile or 2 out from the runway the winds started shifting from a headwind to a crosswind to a tailwind with gains and losses up to 15knots of airpseed.
Safely parked at the gate! That landing definately aged me a bit
