I saw this morning. There’s was a video too. Really bad!
Really bad indeed! A miracle there were no fatalities!
That video makes it look like the crew had some problems with the No.2 engine. Great job by the crew.
I don’t understand this sentence…
Yeah well, at least no casualties. That’s OK.
Any connections with the recent bad weather on Peru? At least everyone are safe and has been evacuated.
The airports elevation is about 11,000ft.
Very easy to misjudge your approach speed, path and vertical speed if you’re not used to such airfields. The accident report will shed some light on it. ;)
Too bad we don’t get these news articles in my newspaper. And what happened to Wikipedia regularly putting the latest plane crash in the headlines? Who stopped that?
Oh no! Not another one! 😬
This is really sad .and the incident is similar to a British airways incident that happened at OR Tambo INTERNATIONAL 2015,when a British airway crash landed due landing gear collapsing on landing ,and everyone on board were safe.
I’m so pleased everyone’s sons, daughters, husbands and wife’s will be coming home tonight.
Don’t forget the 2nd uncles.
Glad to see people are okay, scary stuff
That line of fire trailing behind the starboard wing is impressive.
Super crazy! Glad everyone was ok!
Looks like something out of a James Bond movie!😂
It’s not that big of a deal. The plane gear collapsed but everyone is safe. Shame for the airline, but hey, whatever.
I hope that the families of the current victims of this horrendous aviation disaster are dealing with it well…
I Fixed it just then
