What if there was a way for us to pay to become a moderator? The steps would be the Fds would require certain stats on the forum for example 100,000 read topic a year, etc… and you would have to stay on top of those stats in order to remain a moderator. On top of that you would have to pay a fee each month for instance $10 and all the proceeds would go to helping develop Infinite Flight this would help people’s dreams come true and it would probably help the simulator tremendously. This would also help make the forum better by there being more moderators with the growing population and popularity of the forum. I would personally do this in a heartbeat. What do you think?
I think that a moderator has to be a true genuine person, not someone that pays to take control.

Somebody can pay $1000 just to become a moderator, and they’ll have no idea what the heck they’re doing. This will definitely never happen.
I could go on and on about why this idea is horrible.

So what? Why should you make a person dedicated to this pay. People will pay a lot of money to become one, even with there stats and not know what they are doing. It is like when I see a Grade 4 on the Training Server not behaving.
Paying to become a moderator?
Imagine paying your boss to work for free … Nobody would like that. I think we can just leave it the way it is as they are doing a great job.

That is the exact problem. The developers choose people that are dedicated, I could meet the standards, but does that mean I am dedicated to this, or even know what I am doing.
