Past liveries of US Airlines Part 2 (US Airways, TWA, Western, Braniff, NWA, Eastern, Western, PSA)

I’ll make this one a tad quicker.

Note: None of these are my photos

US Airways:

The white and black liveries are something I’m sure most know about. However the rust liveries are something some haven’t seen:

Not my favorite but I love it nonetheless.

Piedmont hybrid livery is also amazing.

TWA:

Simply gorgeous.

Their last livery was kind of a let down though:

Braniff International:

747 Braniff Place ^. One can dream Braniff was still with us…

Northwest Airlines:

Simple but still great nonetheless.

I personally add “Orient” on the end of NWA when speaking.

Eastern Air Lines:

Hockey stick in white or polished silver, I’ll love it.

Golden Falcon jet also is a terrific livery ^.

Western:

Never really liked Western’s final livery. The predecessor was amazing though:

Nothing says a happy plane like PSA :). Always a heartwarming livery.

Nice. But I prefer it when you have the new liberties to compare it to first.

NWA had the bowling shoe to the early 2000s. Their final livery, the compass lasted until their merger wth DL in 2008/2009

why did northwest merge with delta? it seemed like they were doing great, plus they hubbed the greatest airport :D
