I liked your 4th image in particular! But that historical 1st one is pretty amazing to consider.
Apparently, people originally thought about how to extend even commercial aviation with in-flight refueling. Though the economics of the achievable technological developments made it unnecessary.
I feel so much lighter after this topic.
