Parking gates

Ok please guys where can I get airport diagrams and choose the specific gate to park because I want to know where international airlines park at any airport thanks

You can usually find decent free diagrams online just by googling e.g “EGLL airport diagram”.

As for knowing what airlines parks at which terminal, you can usually find this information (at least for the major airports) on places such as Wikipedia.

Also Flightradar24, tracking aircraft to see where they park (relies on accurate ADS-B data though).

In addition to what Benny said, Flightaware also works well just note that it doesn’t always display gate information and when it does. It provides the gate as it is marked in the terminal and not on the airport map but it’s similar for the most part

Gonna be honest, most of your questions can be answered by googling. In this case “KBOS Charts” will show a Flightaware link with the different charts you need for airport ops.

In my experience, airport diagrams don’t do a great job telling you which gate a specific airline parks at.

This is the “hierarchy” I use to find out where an airline parks:

  1. Flightradar24 History
Sometimes you will get lucky and the flight path includes the history all the way to the gate! If this is the case, it’s quite easy to follow it. Sometimes you can even zoom into the gate number that’s on the ground.

This doesn’t always work though because at some airports sometimes ads-b data stops sending data before or just after an aircraft vacates the runway.

Example

  1. Cirium/FlightawareFlight Status History
Sometimes flight statuses from Cirium and Flightaware will pinpoint the gate. However, I’ve found that if There’s no ads-b data on FR24 chances are data here won’t be populated either.
Example

  1. Airport Website
You can also use the Airport’s website to see where the airline parks the plane—but keep in mind sometimes the passenger gate number is different than the pilot’s gate number because gate number does not always equal parking stand number. This is why this can be a little bit less reliable unless you can dig in deep to find a map of the airport and the general location of said passenger gate.
Example

  1. YouTube Video of the Flight
If I’m running out of options to find the gate, I’ll turn to a YouTube video of the flight IRL. Sometimes I’ll take note of the taxiways and try to find a gate number if I can.

For example, for my flight to/from Mumbai I referenced this YT video to know which gate to park at:

Example

Last resort:
My last resort…to be honest is just park at the correct terminal and not the exact gate. I have yet to encounter an airport where I couldn’t find which terminal to park at after using the above methods.

Hope this helps!

Use Flightaware for airport diagrams, approach and departure charts and airport satellite views. Keep in mind Flightaware only has charts available for U.S. airports.

I have a secret which helps me to find the right gate for my flight in OMDB. For the gate and flight information your best bet would be flight era it’s my go to website for accuracy. For charts Chart fox should do.

Free diagrams online usually is all it takes

Airportmaps.com has useful info.
