For the Beauvais flyout today, I wanted to fly to an airport I never visit. So I found myself in a Ryanair heading to Prague. It was a great flight over some of the best landscapes of Europe, and one I’d absolutely recommend. A breezy tailwind made this all go by quickly.
Airplane: Boeing 737-800
Callsign: FR 8215
Flight Time: 1 hour and 36 minutes
Parked at the gate alongside a few other Ryanair craft ready to get flying
Last in line to taxi to runway 30, watching some takeoffs on the way
A windy takeoff from Beauvais starts off the flight
High up over France, having finally reached cruising altitude
Leaving German airspace during descent
Banking over the beautiful Czech Republic on approach
Getting aligned with runway 06 with plenty of turns
Bringing it down to the runway with a landing VS of only -39 fpm
Perspective of the First Officer on landing
Parked in Prague with the flight completed and the plane shut off
I thought it was an amazing route, and I certainly enjoyed the landing. I’d recommend it!
