Wrong. The maximum operating speed for the A330-900neo is mach 0.89
The maximum cruise speed is mach 0.86.

It’s common for people to correct you for doing things wrong in flight, if it wasn’t because of those people I would be flying a330s from Paris to London 🗿, though some are kinda rude tbh.
