Hello everyone

We know that the first busiest European airport is London Heathrow.
But now, LHR is overtaken by the second European airport: CDG.

Why?

Because of the SARS-COV-2 crisis, the head of LHR has blamed the quarantine rules of the UK government and its reluctance to adopt COVID-19 passenger testing for the airport’s decline in Europe’s ranking of busiest gateways and its ceding of the lead position to CDG.

In the first nine months, LHR handled 18,97 million passenger, CDG handled 19,27 million…

What do you think about that CDG is now the first busiest European airport?

Well…France has just gone into another national lockdown so CDG will likely lose the title very quickly.

Indeed. Macron just announced a general lock down a few hours ago so the traffic will decrease there I think. But the two ones are close each other speaking of traffic.
