Parata Air is a South Korean low-cost airline with its operating base at Yangyang International Airport. It was formerly called Fly Yangyang and Fly Gangwon, until finally being renamed to Parata air after going through some turbulent times. The airline currently operates a small fleet of four aircraft, 2 Airbus A320s and 2 Airbus A330-200s. It operates routes to Japan, Vietnam and intends on launching routes to the US.
Why should it be added to Infinite Flight?
Since the release of the A330-200 on Infinite Flight, we have now got the opportunity to explore some interesting and unique airline operations. While the operations of the A330-200 are gradually reducing worldwide as more of them are heading towards retirement, Parata Air is still solely depending on them for their long haul widebody operations.
It would also be great to have some A330 representation from South Korea, and since Korean Air and Asiana have had Pratt & Whitney powered A330s which are not available in IF at the moment, this would be a great opportunity to finally fly some routes in and out of South Korea on Parata Air as their A330s are equipped with Rolls Royce power plants which are available on IF.
