Hello everyone!

It’s been a little while since I last posted in the Spotting category but this weekend I dusted off my camera and headed to the annual Pacific Airshow in Huntington Beach. Unfortunately those who went will know that we heard the jets more than we saw them due to heavy fog. For the final day of the airshow I went to Los Alamitos Base where all the aircraft took off and landed for the airshow.

Yea same. I was in The Oasis on Saturday because of a friend got me in and I only got one mediocre picture of the raptor. Friday was the only good day and my camera was in the hotel room 🥲

After the B1’s auditory pass on Friday my group dipped to go chase another super rare plane, didn’t see benefit in staying. Saturday we didn’t even bother, straight to Alamitos which turned out alright. I heard they wasted their 40 minutes of blue sky on Saturday.

I was only there for the last hour of the show so I didn’t get to see the B-1. Was hoping I’d get down there sooner but things happen.

It was little pockets of blue, but there were definitely times where the F-22 could’ve done some things that we could’ve actually seen

And we thought last year’s weather was bad…

I guess that’s what happens when you have your airshow on the coast. The comments on their weather updates on Instagram have been very entertaining.

I saw some people complaining about that but they probably only have a limited number per year so blocking sales of them for Friday would probably be too much financial hit to bear.
