Overspeeding - A violation?

Hi there

Just a quick question, is overspeeding counted as a violation? I was cruising at FL340, and didn’t realise that the overspeed came down.

Going faster than 550kts GS is going to result in a ghosting if you are caught. I don’t know if it’s a violation.
