I’m looking for some good flights to do overnight (8 hours or longer). Any recommendations?
Here are some good ones
I love EGLL-VHHH! My favorite long haul route!
NZAA-KLAX is a good one I fly pretty often.
There is JFK-HNL
- London–Heathrow to San Jose (10 hours 40 minutes) as BA279
- Tokyo–Narita to San Jose (9 hours 30 minutes) as NH172
- Beijing–Capital to San Jose (11 hours) as HU7989
Then all of these trips back :)
- San Jose to London–Heathrow (10 hours) as BA278
- San Jose to Tokyo–Narita (11 hours 15 minutes) as NH171
- San Jose to Beijing–Capital (12 hours) as HU7990
But make sure you look here -
There are a lot of routes to choose from!

Ra ra ra ra random flight generator! ;D
My favourite overnight is EGLL-VHHH or the other way round! Brilliant flight and depending on winds can take anywhere between 10-12 hours 😁
I recommend Tel Viv LLBG to Newark KEWR or New York–JFK KJFK
- EGKK - FIMP
- KIAD - OMDB
Miami to Moscow, Miami to Doha and Bermuda to Brussels
KDEN-EDDF 9 hrs
I recommend EDDF to KJFK.
Or EDDL to KJFK.
LFPG - WSSS
And much more :)
All of the above. In short, look for a flight that appears to be 10 hours or more on Flightaware. This will mean you can get to a safe and stable cruise before going to bed, get 8 hours or more of sleep, and be up in time to begin your descent.
KORD-EGLL 8-9 hours
LTBA-WSSS also 8-9 hours
EDDF-KJFK 8 Hours
KBOS-LTBA also 9 hours
OMDB-WSSS 7-8 hours
