Option for ILS Tuning NOT to Automatically Set CRS

Hi all,

Bit of a weird request, but thought it must surely be a relatively small thing to implement so I don’t see why not.

Currently in IF, if you tune the ILS to a runway in the map view, it will automatically set the course (CRS) for BRG1 to that course.

I was wondering if it would be possible to have a setting where it doesn’t do this. Purely as a realism thing since most aircraft IRL don’t do that. To be fair it sounds like something a modern Airbus may well be able to do but I’m sure someone will correct me on that.

The default option would be how it is currently, where it does it automatically. But for people who want to do it ourselves that option could be there.

Just an idea.

although you said it would be a setting to turn on/off, i think a lot of people are going to turn it on not knowing what to do, and an already iffy approach for a lot of people are going to become impossible and then screw up other people

I get that, but perhaps it could pop up as a warning, like it does when you connect to the expert server, basically saying to not enable it unless you know what you’re doing. Also I know some people won’t read that, but then that’s on them. Who changes settings without checking what they do?
