To answer your question though:
The developers have said at different times through different media that they are not going to put a focus on higher frame rates. This is for various reasons, but foremost, IF is not a frame rate heavy game. I’ve been playing for years, and I’ve never set my max fps above 30, nor have I had any need to. Now yes, your device may be capable of higher frame rates, but the vast majority of devices are not, and combining that with the first reason, it makes no sense to up the max frame rates. Even further, in order to increase the frame rates, the refresh speed of the server would need to be increased, causing more lag for some, as well as using more resources.
These are just a few reasons as to why they do not increase the fps. At the moment, 60 fps is more than enough for this kind of sim/game.
