Hey fellow flyers What is the most optimal/ appropriate speed to land the B777 when it’s heavy. Whenever I try to land the B777 and it’s heavy especially the freighter when it’s heavy on final approach the stall warning goes off and I keep getting a stick shaker. So if you guys have any suggestions please let me know. FYI when I say heavy I mean my load is like 55%-39% when I’m landing and I’m below the MLD.

What speed were you at during that time?
I was between 140-135 on final approach fully configured for landing
Ok if you are that heavy about 145-150 is good, if you are light 140-137 is good. Also use SimBrief for not just the flight plan but also for takeoff and landing speeds.

Yea that’s quite heavy, can I have plane, departure airport, weight (in lbs), and arrival airport please, as well as the arrival runway so I can see what would be your landing speed should’ve been
I was flying the B77F in Mumbai VABB RWY 27 my weight was 555,000 lbs

I departed from Frankfurt airport EDDF it was a 8:30 flight I took off with 11hrs worth of fuel

Thank you I just went through it for the weight I had on final I wasss wayyyyyy below the speed that is listed there on the chart

Speed 152
So in short you were supposed to land at 152 knots
